Three Rivers Heritage Trail Maintenance Plan

City of Pittsburgh along with its partner organizations is developing a management plan to ensure the maintenance and integrity of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.

Purpose of the Plan
This first of its kind plan will act as a blueprint for the City of Pittsburgh and its partners guiding how they will maintain the immensely popular Three Rivers Heritage Trail. The plan will focus on four key areas of maintenance and management along the trail. They are:

Canopy and Invasive Plant Management.
Riparian Restoration and Preservation.
Trail Surface and Drainage Management.
Maintenance financing.
